Why Nothing Sticks (And What That’s Actually Telling You)

Why Nothing Sticks (And What That’s Actually Telling You)

Have you ever found something that worked — a routine, a practice, a system, a habit — only to watch it fall apart weeks later? You’re not inconsistent or failing. Your nervous system and capacity may have shifted.

This workshop explores why “nothing sticks” when you’re overwhelmed, burned out, neurodivergent, or living in a body with fluctuating energy and needs. Instead of trying to force consistency, we’ll look at what your patterns are actually telling you — and how to build supports that adapt with you.

This is a space to replace self-blame with information, and pressure with practical, nervous-system–friendly tools.

What We’ll Explore

  • The “Nothing Sticks” Pattern

  • What Your Body Is Communicating

  • Capacity-Aware Habit Building

This Workshop Is For You If:

  • You’ve tried many routines, planners, habits, or systems

  • Things work for a while and then fall apart

  • You experience burnout, shutdown, or fluctuating energy

  • You’re neurodivergent, sensitive, chronically stressed, or overwhelmed

  • You want supportive strategies instead of more discipline advice

What's the point of taking a teacher training program if you don't want to teach yoga?

You might be thinking that if you don't plan to teach yoga then you shouldn't do a training.

I'm here to tell you that you're wrong.

I'll share the perfect example. Me.

I had no intention of teaching yoga when I started my teacher training. I was at a low point in my life, feeling lost and defeated, and getting to the mat daily was the only thing I really had to look forward to.

It got me out of bed every morning.

𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒅𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒐 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕 𝒕𝒐 𝒃𝒆 𝒂 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒐 𝒅𝒐 𝒂 𝒕𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈.

What you do need to have is:

🌀 A desire to learn

🌀 A desire to dive deeper into the yoga practice

🌀 A desire to dive deeper into who you are and what you've experienced

🌀 An openness to a new perspective

I can guarantee that a teacher training will transform you. Mine lead me to start teaching (which I didn't intend on doing), quit the job that was leaving me feeling depressed, and start my own organizing business.

I can't tell you what will shift, and you won't know until you experience it.

Focus Fatigue & the Myth of Motivation
Mar

Focus Fatigue & the Myth of Motivation

If you’ve ever felt like you should be able to focus, follow through, or stay motivated — but your body and brain don’t cooperate — you’re not broken. You’re likely dealing with focus fatigue, nervous system overload, and strategies that were never designed for real humans.

In this workshop, we’ll gently unpack the myth of motivation and look at what actually drives focus, follow-through, and energy — especially for neurodivergent, sensitive, overwhelmed, or burnt-out brains.

You’ll learn why:

  • Motivation is unreliable (and not a moral issue)

  • Focus fluctuates with your nervous system state

  • Pushing harder often backfires

  • “Productivity tips” can increase shutdown, shame, or avoidance

And you’ll leave with simple, body-based tools you can use right away to support focus without force.

What We’ll Explore

  • The Focus–Fatigue Loop

  • The Myth of Motivation

  • Regulation > Willpower

This Workshop Is For You If:

  • You struggle with focus, follow-through, or task initiation

  • You’ve been told to “just be more motivated” and it never helped

  • You experience burnout, fatigue, overwhelm, or shutdown

  • You’re neurodivergent, sensitive, anxious, or chronically stressed

  • You want supportive tools instead of productivity pressure

Organizing for Executive Function

A masterclass for building systems that actually support how your brain works

If you’ve ever stared at a mess and not known where to start—or you keep making organizing systems that fall apart in a week—this class is for you.

This masterclass is designed for anyone who struggles with executive function challenges, including task initiation, working memory, planning, and follow-through. Whether you're neurodivergent, chronically disorganized, or just exhausted by “shoulds,” we’ll explore how to organize your space and your systems in ways that are realistic, sustainable, and kind.

You’ll learn:

  • Why traditional organizing methods often fall short for executive dysfunction

  • How to break organizing down into doable, non-overwhelming steps

  • Strategies for reducing decision fatigue and visual clutter

  • Supportive routines that help your systems stay organized (even on tough days)

This isn’t a Pinterest-perfect kind of organizing—it’s a build-it-to-work-for-you kind. It’s about clarity, not perfection.

🧠 Perfect if you:

  • Struggle to start, finish, or maintain organizing projects

  • Feel overwhelmed by clutter but unsure how to tackle it

  • Want systems that support your executive function challenges, not add to them

You don’t need motivation or momentum to join—just curiosity and a willingness to begin.

Planning with ADHD Brains

A masterclass for making planning actually work for you

Traditional planning advice often leaves ADHD brains overwhelmed, under-motivated, or stuck in perfectionism. This masterclass is designed to help you break free from rigid systems and create planning tools that are flexible, personalized, and actually doable.

Whether you’ve tried every planner on the market or you’re just starting to look for structure that works with your brain (not against it), this session will help you rethink what it means to plan and follow through.

You’ll learn:

  • Why most planning systems fail ADHD brains—and what to try instead

  • How to create routines and rhythms without locking yourself into a rigid schedule

  • Tools to make planning feel less like pressure and more like support

  • Ways to use visual, sensory, and time-based cues to stay anchored throughout your day

  • Feel stuck between wanting structure and rebelling against it

  • Struggle to follow plans you know you made

Body Doubling (Virtual) Working Sessions

These workshops are meant to provide community support and accountability that can help us get through our to-do lists, especially those tasks that feel overwhelming to do and/or those things that we’ve been avoiding.

What is body doubling?

Body doubling is the method of having another person in the room with you while you attempt to accomplish a task. The idea behind its effectiveness is that having a person nearby while you do a task can help increase your motivation while being perceived.

What can I do during this time?

You can really do anything during these sessions: cleaning, organizing, making phone calls, sending emails, making steps in a larger project. I recommend doing the thing that feels really hard for you to get done right now. Is there something you’ve been putting off or avoiding, doing that task during this time is a great idea!

How will you support me?

At the beginning of each session, everyone will do a check in to share what they are planning on working on during our body doubling session.

I’ll be available to do short one on one check-ins in a breakout room for anyone who needs help troubleshooting a problem or would like to talk through a larger project.

When we get closer to the end of our time together, we’ll do a final check in and wrap up. This will be to share what you were able to accomplish today and to make sure you have time to close out what you were doing to move on to something else or set yourself up to keep going!

Cost: $60 for 2-hours

These workshops are limited to 5 attendees. Pre-registration required.

Online fitness class facilitated by local yoga teacher Shannon Reilly. Yin is a slower, mindful yoga practice in which we address the connective tissue in our bodies. Through long, slow, deep movements we allow our bodies to stretch appropriately so that we can remain functional and smooth in our bodies. Through this practice you'll tune into what you are experiencing and feeling and be encouraged to play with your current range of motion.

Please have a blanket and blocks (or pillows) to support your practice.

Endless Paper: Tackling Your Digital Clutter

It may or may not surprise you that digital clutter builds up faster and in a less obvious way than the physical clutter. It takes longer to organize, delete, and figure out digital clutter than it does to manage your physical clutter.

Like physical clutter, it can be difficult to know where to start or how to go about clearing out the digital.

Join me for this masterclass where you'll learn:

  • The best apps and websites to manage incoming digital clutter

  • The best tips for managing your digital clutter moving forward

  • The best ways to tackle the back log of your digital files

  • And more!

You'll leave this class with a jumpstart on organizing and clearing your digital clutter. You'll know where to start, how to plan, and how to manage it.

Can't wait to see you there!
