What will I learn?

In this 5 month program, you will immerse yourself in the foundations, history, philosophy, teachings, and practice of yoga. Take the time to dive deeper into your mind, body, and spirit through learning, exploration, and practice. This training is open to those interested in teaching yoga, as well as those that want to deepen their practice.

This training is a perfect blend of learning at your own pace and learning in community. It’s perfect for those who are neurodiverse, need to balance training with work, and those who thrive through a variety of learning styles, from listening to seeing to experiencing it for themselves.

We will cover a variety of topics including:

Yoga History & Philosophy

Learn the foundations of yoga and how the movement we practice today came about.

Anatomy, Physiology, & Biomechanics

You learn the basics of muscles, movement, and joints in order to learn how to create and build safe and well rounded yoga classes.

Meditation

You’ll practice and learn various meditation practices and techniques.

Pose Breakdowns

You’ll learn the ins and out of common poses and types of poses. You’ll also receive a robust pose guide teaching you everything you’d want to know (and more!).

Teaching Methodologies

Learn how to hold space as a teacher, and figure out how you can teach as your authentic self.

Comparative Practices

You’ll Learn vinyasa yoga, but will also get to experience and learn yin, restorative, chair, and creating trauma informed classes.

Safe Alignment & Adjustments

Through anatomy studies, you’ll understand how to find the safest alignment for each individuals body.

Live Group Sessions

The group sessions are a great way to connect with community, ask questions, and practice teach.

Sequencing

You’ll learn how to create safe and creative sequences.

1:1 Meetings

You’ll meet one on one with the lead trainer throughout the training talking about your goals and helping to keep you accountable to your studying.

This training will be offered as a hybrid. Meaning while we will meet together live (online), there will also be pre-recorded content and lectures that you can absorb at your own pace. These videos will be yours to refer back to after the training has commenced.

Expectations

Students that register for this training are required to attend all training sessions, complete assignments, and meet with the lead trainer throughout the training for one on one mentoring. Students will be encouraged to experience classes and workshops outside of training hours, but not required.

All modules will be released one at a time and consist of practice, meditation, and bite size videos. All sessions are recorded, but in person attendance is HIGHLY encouraged.

Live Bi-Weekly Q&A and Group Practice 6-8pm ET (Evening will be decided as a group)

Investment: $3,350

Early bird registration: $3,000 (through Jan 15th)

$500 deposit due upon acceptance into the program. Payment plans are available by request.
