Yoga Poses: Inversions
Inversions. They are amazing postures. They take concentration, practice, focus, and determination. We all have the strength to hold inversions, but they are still challenging for most of us. It takes time and patience to understand what we need to nail inversions.
Schedule It
I recently read a quote that said if you schedule a task the chances and likelihood of you completing it goes from 40% to 70%. I really do find this fascinating. Simply writing things down can increase your chances of completing your tasks. Why does scheduling increase the chances even more? There are a few reasons for that success rate.
Wake Up with the Sun
Wake up with the sun, and I don’t mean the actual sun, unless you’re a morning person! Wake up with the sun salutations. The yoga sun salutations, or surya namaskar, is a full body warm up. How Often Should I Organize?
This question comes up a lot. How can we put more structure onto our organizing and clearing out so that it doesn’t become overwhelming? When we plan ahead, set expectations, and make habits, organizing becomes more a part of our daily lives and less of a burden.

The HGTV Effect
We all love HGTV. House hunting, organizing, hoarders. Not necessarily doing those things, but watching other people do them is lots of fun. What happens when we spend hours of our days watching TV shows and reading about organizing in magazines?
Yoga - Not Just Movement
When we think about yoga, we primarily think about the physical practice. We think about attending classes, getting the heart rate up, doing a movement practice. We might also think about breath, but past that, if we haven’t experienced yoga, we don’t know about all of the other parts that make up our yoga practice.
Quarantine Cleaning
We’ve all spent the better part of the last year in our houses. We may have realized how our space is or is not working for us. We’ve noticed all the things we have that we might not need. And/ or we’ve started to clean out or wanted to but didn’t know where or how to start.
