A supportive, sensory-friendly space to explore yoga your way

This isn’t your typical yoga class.

It’s a series designed with neurodivergent minds and bodies in mind—from the pacing to the language, to the way we structure our space and our time. Whether you’ve struggled with typical studio classes or are brand new to yoga, this series offers a safe, welcoming way to connect with movement, breath, and nervous system regulation—without pressure, expectation, or overwhelm.

What is Yoga for Neurodiversity?

Yoga for Neurodiversity is an approach to yoga that recognizes and celebrates cognitive and sensory differences. This series is built for real humans with real nervous systems—those who might experience:

  • Sensory sensitivity or sensory seeking

  • Executive dysfunction or difficulty with transitions

  • Anxiety, overstimulation, or burnout

  • A need for flexibility (in structure—not just the physical kind)

  • Desire for tools to support emotional regulation, focus, and rest

You don’t have to mask here. You don’t have to push through. You get to show up as you are.

What You’ll Get Each Week

A person practicing yoga indoors on a black mat, lying on their back with knees bent, arms relaxed at sides, surrounded by indoor plants, and a wooden floor with a background of orange curtains.

Every class is thoughtfully designed to be supportive, flexible, and accessible. Whether you attend live or prefer to watch on your own time, you’ll have access to helpful tools to make each session work for you.

  • Live Zoom Class (60 minutes – come as you are, camera optional)

  • Replay Recording (available within 24 hours)

  • Weekly Pose Cards or Visuals (with variations and sensory-friendly cues)

  • Guided Audio Practice (to use between classes or as support)

  • Reflection or Integration Prompt (for those who like structure or journaling)

  • Access to a Resource Library (everything in one place to revisit when needed)

You’ll leave each session with tools you can use off the mat—whether you’re looking to regulate your nervous system, build more awareness of your body and needs, or simply carve out a pocket of calm in your week.

Why This Series Exists

I created Yoga for Neurodiversity because I believe all bodies and all brains deserve access to the tools of rest, regulation, and movement—and I know from personal and professional experience that mainstream yoga spaces often aren’t designed with neurodivergent folks in mind.

As I work toward completing my 1,000-hour yoga teacher training, I’m focusing my study on how yoga can truly support neurodivergent individuals. This series is part of that journey. I’ll be offering both group and individual programs, and I’ll also invite participants (always optional!) to share their experiences through brief check-ins—so I can continue shaping this work around what really helps.

What We’ll Cover: Week-by-Week Breakdown

This series is designed to be predictable, flexible, and supportive. Each week follows a familiar structure—with space for choice, rest, and pacing that respects your nervous system.

Each class includes:

  • A gentle opening and check-in

  • A guided practice with clear options (including chair and floor variations)

  • Space to pause or stim as needed

  • Optional closing reflection

Here’s what you can expect:

  • “Start where you are. There is no ‘right’ way to be here.”

We’ll explore what it means to arrive—to land in your body and in this space, with no pressure to perform. We’ll gently notice sensations, breath, and simple grounding movements, with full permission to opt in or out.

    You’ll receive:
🛠 Sensory Support Toolkit + Comfort Plan
    🎧 Guided arrival audio

  • “When the world feels too much, we come back to what holds us.”

This class focuses on grounding practices to help you feel more anchored, supported, and present. We’ll explore connection to the floor, props, and the breath to reduce sensory overload or anxious energy.

    You’ll receive:
    🖼 Visual grounding poses guide
    🎧 5-minute grounding practice audio

  • “Your breath is a tool that belongs to you—use it your way.”

Explore breath practices that support energy shifts—whether you’re feeling shut down, overstimulated, or foggy. Everything is invitational. We’ll cover multiple techniques and how to modify them for your own needs.

    You’ll receive:
🛠 Breath cards (printable or digital)
🧠 Optional “find-your-breath-style” quiz or journal prompt

  • “Movement doesn’t have to be still or silent to be mindful.”

This week supports energy expression and movement-based regulation. Think: stimming, shaking, swaying, stretching. We’ll explore dynamic practices that are rhythm-based and choice-filled—not performance-based.

    You’ll receive:
📓 Pose Deck: Move Your Way
    🎵 Optional movement playlist

  • “Rest is not a reward. It’s a need—and you are allowed to meet it.”

Discover restorative poses and down-regulation techniques that don’t require stillness or silence. We'll practice accessible ways to rest that meet sensory and nervous system needs (weighted props, warm layers, closed eyes optional).

    You’ll receive:
🎧 Rest & Reset Audio Pack
    🛏 Sensory-friendly rest guide

  • “There is no right way to use these tools—just your way.”

In our final class, we’ll reflect on what worked, what didn’t, and how to continue using these tools beyond the series. We’ll co-create a closing practice and revisit favorite movements or supports with full autonomy.

    You’ll receive:
    🛠 Personal Toolkit Builder
    📝 Integration Journal Prompt

Is This for Me?

This series is especially supportive if:

  • You identify as neurodivergent (Autistic, ADHD, sensory processing differences, etc.)

  • You’ve found traditional yoga environments inaccessible or overwhelming

  • You’re seeking a body-based way to regulate, rest, or reset

  • You want a class where your needs are welcomed—not something to “overcome”

All bodies, all brain styles, all experience levels are welcome. You don’t need to be flexible, calm, or familiar with yoga. You just need to be you.

Prefer 1:1 Support?

Group classes aren’t for everyone—and that’s okay. If you’d rather explore yoga for neurodiversity in a private, customized setting, I offer 1:1 sessions tailored entirely to your needs, schedule, and sensory preferences.

Together, we can create a truly personalized practice that supports your body, your nervous system, and your goals.
